Black Lemon was born out of a shared love for house music and good times with great friends. After playing a set at the Isle of Wight Festival, we were hit hard by the post-festival blues. We didn\u2019t want to wait another year for that same buzz, so we decided to create it ourselves.<\/p>
As a group of friends who DJ, we found ourselves craving more opportunities to play, connect, and enjoy the music we\u2019re passionate about. Living on the Isle of Wight, we noticed a gap\u2014there just wasn\u2019t much happening when it came to quality house music events, and even fewer chances for local DJs to get behind the decks. So we created Black Lemon\u2014not just for us, but for the community.<\/p>
Black Lemon is a space where talented DJs can showcase their skills, whether they\u2019re seasoned names or just getting started. We know how hard it can be to get your foot in the door, and we\u2019re proud to offer a platform to those looking for a chance to play live. We\u2019re lucky to have some amazing DJs on the island, and shining a light on their talent is at the heart of what we do.<\/p>
At every event, we focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering proper house music, and making sure everyone has a great time. We\u2019re always exploring exciting new venues and fresh ideas to keep things moving forward.<\/p>
